The Men’s Advance
A Friday evening and a Saturday morning for the men of your church. Six talks, each built on one part of a mechanical watch, from the spring that powers it to the watchmaker who made it, and each with a watch to look at.
Friday, 6 to 10 PM: dinner, talks and time in small groups.
Saturday, 8 AM to noon: breakfast, talks and time in small groups.
It is packaged so any church can run it.
Why an Advance and not a retreat? The Marines at Belleau Wood in 1918 are remembered for the answer: “Retreat, hell! We just got here!”
Other talks
A single talk for a men’s breakfast, a Sunday school class or a conference, drawn from the Watch and Pray books.
